On Saturday, October 12th the Fairfield Park Atom Reps hosted the Ridgetown Rebels in a tight affair.

The teams were closely matched and the game was back and forth the whole game. Ridgetown scored in the first period and managed to keep the Wallaceburg team off the score sheet. Wallaceburg got it going in the second on a goal from Connor Debot with assists going to Connor Lubbers and Cameron Hazzard. Ridgetown scored 2 goals late in the second with one coming on the power play. Trailing 3-1 starting the third period, Wallaceburg dominated scoring early on an unassisted power play goal from Daniel Fraleigh. Three minutes later Wallaceburg again turned on the red light with Ethan McLachlin banging home a rebound with assists going to Kanton Verstraeten and Lucas Knight. Tied 3-3 and with Wallaceburg pressuring, Ridgetown got a break and did not make a mistake going up 4-3. The Atom reps were all over Ridgetown in the final 5 minutes but could not buy a goal.
