Atom Reps come up just short
The Fairfield Park Atom Reps travelled to Dorchester on Oct 8th for a 7:30 pm date with the Dorchester Dragons
The Atom Reps came out flying right from the drop of the puck and gave Dorchester all they could handle. Dorchester opened the scoring late in the first period. Wallaceburgs own Cameron Hazzard put the Atom Reps on the scoreboard when he banged in a rebound from the slot. Assisting on the goal was Connor Lubbers and Connor Debot. At the end of the first on a power play Dorchester scored to end the first period up 2-1. The teams traded goals in the second with Connor Debot scoring on a feed from Cameron Hazzard and Connor Lubbers. In the third period the teams once again traded goals. Lucas Knight made a great rush down the wing and threw a hard shot on net and Ethan McLachlin scored his first of the year sniping the puck right out of the air. Connor Debot finished the scoring on a short handed break that would make the TSN highlight of the night. Strong defensive play all night from Brett Wadsworth, Danny Jacques and Ashton Shipman. The forwards dedicated themselves to harder backchecking and it showed all night. Great team effort and next action is Saturday at home against Ridgetown. Hard Hat award went to Cameron Hazzard!!
