Hello Hockey Family,
As we are all aware of the Lockdown coming up, moving forward WMHA will be suspended as of December 24,2020 until further notice. This is a huge disappointment for everyone in our hockey community. Please keep checking the WMHA website for updates on a return date for the Lakers to hit the ice again. Over the next few weeks the WMHA Board will be working on a safe return for all of its Players, Coaches and Parents to come back and enjoy the great game of hockey. Please everyone have a safe and Merry Christmas and New Years.
Shane Fraleigh
WMHA President

Happy Holidays everyone:
To keep Laker legs moving over the holidays
WMHA coaches are putting on skater centric skills sessions
Monday December 28th
– Wednesday December 30th. Each day will have an 80 minute session
dedicated to skill development (edgework, shooting and passing).
Perry Wilson was lined up to come up from
Windsor for a dedicated goaltender session but unfortunately due to that
regions lockdown it will not be possible at this time. Something will be organized
at the end of January or as soon as possible for what makes sense post
lockdown.

Laker Families
WMHA is aware of the current situation at a local school, and wants to remind our families at this time that it is imperative to follow the directions of local Public Health officials.
If your child has been deemed in contact with any suspected case of Covid-19, you should have received a call from Public Health with further instructions. If you were contacted by Public Health and told that your child is to self-isolate, he/she must not attend WMHA functions until they are cleared by Public health.
