Wallaceburg vs West Lorne
Wallaceburg just completed a home and home series with West Lorne. What a weekend is all I can say. Before the game I had a talk with the kids on how we needed to get our offense moving and getting more shots on net and creating scoring opportunities. Well the game didn't start that way as West Lorne came out and scored on the first shot. There is something to say when we get scored on, it seems to get the kids moving. Well they didn't disappoint as the flood gates opened and we scored 16 goals on route to a 16-1 win.
Game 2. After that win I knew West Lorne was going to come into our barn and look for revenge. I had to keep the kids on level ground and not take West Lorne for granted. First period West Lorne came out flying and was giving us everything they had but finally under 4 minutes to play in the first Wallaceburg was able to score 3 goals. Second period West Lorne still kept pressuring and controlled most of the period but was unable to put one past Aiden. Third period started the same way with West Lorne pressuring in our zone and finally 3 minutes in West Lorne put one in the back of the net. After that it was all Wallaceburg as they went on to score 5 more times in route to a 8-1 win.
