Hockey Weekend
Wallaceburg had a busy weekend, Saturday night we travelled down the road to Blenheim to face the Southkent Lightning. From the opening face off Wallaceburg took control of this game. Most of the first we kept the puck down in their zone as their goalie stood tall stopping everything we threw at him. Meanwhile down at the other end Aiden had a very quiet night only facing a couple of shots.
Wallaceburg controlled the rest of the game and went on to a 10-0 victory. I believe that is the score, at this time i don't have the stats to post.
Game 2
Sunday night hockey at the barn. Wallaceburg hosted the Dresden Kings, the last time we faced the Kings they scored late in the third to walk away with a tie. We knew Dresden was coming to play so we had to bring our A game. It didn't take long for Wallaceburg to get on the board scoring early and had a 2-0 lead at the end of the first. Second period both teams came out flying providing end to end action with Wallaceburg going into the break with a 4-1 lead. Wallaceburg came out in the third and took control of the game scoring 3 more times in route to a 7-1 victory.
