Bantam TC 1, 2018-2019, U15 (Wallaceburg Minor Hockey Association )

Once again we were on the road as we traveled to take on the Southwest bullets. Well I hate to report but Wallaceburg finally lost their first game of the season. We knew Southwest was going to a tough opponent. Opening face off and Southwest took control of the game, no matter what we did nothing was going right but somehow skated away with a 0-0 tie at the end of the first. First half of the second period it was much of the same. Then the flood gates opened up and Southwest scored 4 scores under 10 minutes, it was like Wallaceburg wasn't even on the ice.

Almost forgot to write this one up....Well Wallaceburg was on the road again as we travelled down the road to dresden to take on the Kings. We knew this was going to be a battle as Dresden came off a huge win against South Kent 10-1, they would be pumped and ready to play.  Puck dropped and Wallaceburg came out flying but at the end of the first the score was tied 1-1. Second period wallaceburg seamed to take their foot off the gas and coast along luckily Dresden wasn't able to 

Wallaceburg lakers are busy on the road this weekend, first we travelled down the 401 to take on West Lorne. Its been a couple of weeks since we had a league game so we might be a little rusty.That wasn't the case. it didn't take long to get on the scoreboard as we scored 15 seconds in the game. Wallaceburg controlled the first period to take a 3-0 lead. The second was much the same as wallaceburg scored 4 more times.

Sunday night hockey at the barn.  Well this game didn't disappoint. we knew this game was going to be a challenge and Mooretown came to play.  Wallaceburg came out flying  in the first period controlling the tempo of the game and scored twice to take a 2 nothing lead at the end of the first. I don't know what happened in the second but Wallaceburg let up on the gas giving Mooretown the chance to take over, and thats exactly what they did.  Controlling the second Mooretown came back scoring twice tying the game at

Wallaceburg had a busy weekend, Saturday night we travelled down the road to Blenheim to face the Southkent Lightning. From the opening face off Wallaceburg took control of this game. Most of the first we kept the puck down in their zone as their goalie stood tall stopping everything we threw at him. Meanwhile down at the other end Aiden had a very quiet night only facing a couple of shots.
