Five Game Recap in Novice Rep Season Start
The First Five Games of the Novice Rep Jr. Lakers' season has proven to be a learning experience as the young team continues to improve and make their mark around the league. Catch up with this quick recap on the beginning of a season that is showing signs of being an exciting one.





Sept 26th
The First Game in Mooretown quickly showed Wallaceburg's young squad that wins don't come easy in Rep Hockey.  The 6-0 loss was a tough way to start but helped the team prepare for an exciting season. Amaya Jacobs stood out from the crowd and earned player of the game with her hard work and stellar play.

Oct 3rd
The Lambton Shores Predators spoiled a win at the Wallaceburg Memorial Arena during the Jr. Lakers' Home opener.  While the Predators controlled much of the play, Wallaceburg showed improvement as the team started to gel.  Nash Jacobs converted a pass from Arionna Hopkins for the Lakers' first points of the season. Wallaceburg's second and final goal of the night came from Conner Bechard who capitalized on a feed from Hunter Jacobs.  The 5-2 Loss to Lambton Shores could of been a lot worse if it weren't for the spectacular play of rookie goaltender Brock Lane, who withstood a barrage of rubber and earned player of the game.

Oct 10th
The Wallaceburg Novice Reps regrouped after dropping the first two games and came flying out of the gate against the Southwest Bullets.  The 10-0 victory showcased a total team effort as the Jr. Lakers found their stride. The Bullets were no match for two big guns as Adam Trella netted Four Goals, and Two assits. While first year Novice Nash Jacobs recorded a Hat Trick plus an assist. Additional Wallaceburg goals came from Arionna Hopkins, Cole Allaer, and Kiigs Shognosh.  Justin Schepens, Nate Bastow, Amaya Jacobs, and Kiigs Shognosh also contributed with assists.  Big Brock Lane put up his first Shut-out of the season with the help of excellent defensive efforts from Wallaceburg's blue liners.   Kiigs Shognosh was selected as player of the game after putting on a defenceman clinic.

Oct 11th
East Lambton Eagles proved to be to hot to handle as the Novice Reps fell short in a 5-1 loss on the road.  Wallaceburg's loan goal came from Nash Jacobs who finished off a beauty pass from Cole Allaer. Blake Lethbridge took home the player of the game award in this educational loss.

Oct 16th
The Wallaceburg Novice Reps had a strong game through the first two periods on the Road Friday Night. However were unable to hang on in the third during this nail-biter of a comeback win for the North Middlesex Jr. Stars. Adam Trella came though with Two goals and two assists. Cole Allaer, and Nash Jacobs also added a goal each while Kiigs Shognosh supplied an assist.  The crowd was on the edge of their seats during this 5-4 character building loss. Nash Jacobs was awarded player of the game for Wallaceburg after his hard work and excellent play.
