Novice Rep, 2015-2016, U9 (Wallaceburg Minor Hockey Association )

It's time for a Gut Check as the Wallaceburg Novice Rep team will be soon heading into OMHA Playdowns. With a Regular Season game on Saturday against Dresden the Lakers will be thrown into the lions den next week as they face off against some of the Shamrock Leagues' best.

It was another showdown between the Wallaceburg Novice Rep Lakers and the Lambeth Lancers on Tuesday night.  This time Lambeth hosted Wallaceburg to their Pink on the Rink event.  Players and Fans sported pink colours to show support of the ongoing fight against breast cancer.  Lambeth demonstrated tremendous class when they invited Head Coach Matt Trella and son Adam to center ice, while players looked on from the blue lines for a ceremonial puck drop in honor of Matt's mother.

The Wallaceburg Novice Rep Lakers took to the road for the weekend and participated in the Bill Batten Memorial Tournament in South Huron.  The weekend was full of ups and downs that ultimately saw the Lakers bow out in the Semi-Finals. 

Halloween hockey took the Wallaceburg Novice Rep Lakers down the road for Dresden's annual minor hockey day.  Dresden did a spectacular job hosting visiting teams to their event, with food and fun for all participants. 

The Wallaceburg Novice Rep Lakers had another busy weekend. This time the Novice squad took their skills to the Roy Beechy Memorial Tournament in the infamous town of Tillsonburg...... yes you can say it.... "my back still aches when I hear that word".  The tournament was packed with excitement as well as some bizarre moments!
