WMHA Novice Rep Try-outs
Hello Novice Players, As conditioning camp comes to a close, Try-outs for the Rep team are upon us.
All Novice players are encouraged to tryout. Try-outs can be a fun, and an educational experience for a young hockey player. It's an opportunity to get additional ice time and prepare for the upcoming season.
If a player is selected to for the Rep Team, He / She will have the opportunity to play in a fun yet competitive division with lots of development opportunity. If a player is not selected, the tryout will give the player great exposure to the process used throughout their minor hockey career. The player will then be placed in an alternate division of Novice that is best suited to their playing style and skill level, and maximize development at this stage of their career
Novice Rep Hockey is not only new to a lot of players, but also some families.
It's important to know, that Rep Level Hockey comes with a higher level of competitiveness and commitment from players and their families. Traveling up to 2 hours for a regular season hockey game can be required. This year we will also participate in at least (2) Tournaments out of our regular area and Hotel stays may be required. To play on the Novice Rep Team, a player can expected to pay approximately $200 in team fees, however team fundraising can often lower fees significantly. Team fees cover cost of Tournament registration, and additional team expenses.
Despite the added cost, and commitment, Rep hockey can provide a rich and rewarding hockey experience that will provide an experience to last a lifetime.

Cost of each Tryout Skate is $10 to a max of $30, all skates are at Wallaceburg Memorial Arena
