Well, I just spent 20 minutes typing out a great game summary and then I lost it.....sorry. We won...6-2..... Garet scored a lot and Nash scored too. Lots of tripping penalties in the 3rd. Everyone played great. Blake was player of the game for his awesome defensive play! Good work guys! Next time I'll hit save.....

The boys defeated the Petrolia Oilers on Friday night in the first of a 3 game weekend.  The G Men turned away shots like super heros despite the tough defensive effort especially by Kai B. who was name player of the game. The forwards showed that their practice is paying off with some highlight reel passes and shots that the Oilers goalie was lucky to kick aside.  Goals from Jake M. and Garet V. assisted by Blake L. and Nash L. made it a 2-0 win against one of the toughest opponents in the league.   Good work boys!  See you in Dresden to dethrone the ...

Coming off a tough loss on Friday night the Novice AE Lakers were determined to have a better showing in Mooretown on Saturday. It was tied 0-0 going into the 2nd period even though most of the play was in the Mooretown zone with the Lakers revitalized offence.   Kiigs S. and John S. put on a defensive show keeping the Mooretown offence frustrated and earning them special mention from the coaches following the game. 2 Goals from Jake M. and 1 from Garet V. sealed the fate of the Jr. flags.   Player of the game was Jake M. who not only marked 2 goals but also make some key defensive ...

A tough loss tonight as the Novice AE Lakers came up short against the St. Thomas Jr. Stars. The Lakers couldn't hold back the Stars even with the strong efforts of Nash L. and the G-Men who the coaches recognized for doing a great job. Garet V. scored the lone Laker goal late in the 3rd period to ruin the Stars shut-out hopes. Brayden B. was player of the game tonight for his toughness in battles for the puck at both ends. Go get em in Mooretown tomorrow boys!
