Schedule & Results, Atom AE, 2013-2014, U11 (Wallaceburg Minor Hockey Association )

The Atom AE team turned in another solid performance to finish out their Round Robin Playdown. Although they only finished with 3pts they had a lot of great games against some tough opponents.  Tonight was no different, facing a Dorchester team that earlier in the year had beat them by scores of 9-0 and 5-0, but Wallaceburg wasn't going to let that stand in their way.
  The 1st goal of the game was a beauty with a great pass from Kyle Morrison reaching the stick of Caiden Leach who fired it pass the goalie @ 7:03 of the 1st period; additional assist went to Zander Cogghe.  Wallaceburg would strike again in the 2nd period with a goal by Brayden Kraayenbrink who worked hard in front of the net to stuff it in, assist going to Aiden Latimer.  Dorchester fought back late in the 2nd period getting one goal and adding another in early part of the 3rd period.  Both teams would continue to battle for the lead but to no avail and the game would end in a draw.  Another Great team effort with the 3 stars going to:

1) TARYN JACOBS - Golden Helmet Award for great defensive play and moments of great offensiveness
2) AIDAN COLE - for awesome offensive awareness and skating
3) ETHAN BURFIELD - For amazing defensive play (positioning and stick work)
