Equipment Pick Up For U6 and U7 Players
A very special thank you goes out to the family of the late Gerard Heuvelman, whose generous donation has made it possible for our newest Lakers to start their hockey journey with free equipment, easing the financial burden for families. As your player outgrows their gear, we encourage you to consider donating it back to WMHA or paying it forward to another child in our local community.

The equipment kits that were pre-ordered for our new players will be available for pick-up tomorrow morning (Saturday) from 7:30–8:30 AM at the Walpole Island Sports Complex. This way, our youngest Lakers will be ready to hit the ice! U5 Equipment Kits will be available at a later date before their first skate!

✅ Please remember:

Players must be paid in full and have the Respect in Sport Course completed to be eligible for pick-up. For more information, please see the Respect in Sport section on our website: https://wallaceburghockey.com/Pages/7784/Respect_in_Sport_Support_/

Kits
will be held until this registration criteria has been met.

Starter Kits do not include helmet, stick, neck guard, skates, or under-protection. These are all necessary equipment pieces which will need to be purchased separately.

Kits must have been pre-ordered using the form previously shared.

We will not be able to distribute kits to players who have not pre-ordered.

📆 Ice Times Tomorrow at Walpole Island Sports Complex:
U7 (2019) Skate → 8:00–8:50 AM
U6 (2020) Skate → 8:50–9:40 AM

If you are unable to pick up your kit at this time, it will be available at the U5 pick-up date, which will be announced at a later time.

We can’t wait to see our newest Lakers take the ice tomorrow morning—see you at the rink!
