BACK TO SCHOOL SUPPLY & FOOD DRIVE
Let’s celebrate the first week back to hockey by giving back!
Please join our Wallaceburg Hockey Parents in donating items back to our local community as we head into our 75th season of Wallaceburg Minor Hockey.
As we return to the sport we love, we also recognize that back to school can be a stressful time for many families. Between school supplies and packing lunches, the costs can add up fast. This week, let’s come together as a hockey community to help support local families in need.
🖍️ What We’re Collecting:
🎒 New or gently used school supplies (backpacks, pencils, notebooks, markers, etc.)
🥫 Non-perishable food items (canned goods, boxed dry goods, school snacks, juice boxes)
🧼 Personal care items (toothpaste, soap, deodorant, shampoo/conditioner, feminine hygiene products)
📍Drop-off Location: Walpole Island Sports Complex
Look for the collection bins during your team’s ice time!
💙All school supply donations will be distributed to local elementary schools.
🧡 Food and hygiene donations will be delivered to the Walpole Island Food Bank, supporting the community that has welcomed us back to the ice.
A huge THANK YOU to the amazing staff at the Walpole Island Sports Complex for their flexibility and support in getting our Lakers back on the ice this week!
