Good luck to the Lakers participating in the LNHL!
A huge shoutout to all our WMHA players competing in the Little NHL tournament in Markham this week! Give it your all out there on the ice! We're all cheering you on every step of the way!
The Little Native Hockey League (LNHL), also known as the Little NHL, is the largest annual ice hockey tournament for First Nation youth in Ontario. The 51st LNHL tournament is taking place in Markham, Ontario from March 9-13th. This event is a tradition for many of our Lakers families and includes over 250 teams from U7 to U18 and their many supporters. This event showcases the incredible talent of indigenous youth while bringing communities together.
Wallaceburg Minor Hockey Association is honoured to celebrate the many youth within our organization who participate in this event each year representing Walpole Island First Nation. There are a few players representing other First Nations as well.
