Atom Girls Golden at the BADGA Tournament
Submitted By WMHA on Thursday, January 24, 2019
Congratulations to our Wallaceburg Lakers Atom Girls who took home gold from the 20th Annual B.A.D. Girls Hockey Tournament.

The girls faced some tough competition, resulting in exciting, action-packed hockey games. The Atom girls played tough, defensive hockey throughout the tournament, with goalie Renee Trella allowing only two goals in five games.

Their hard work, persistence, and teamwork took them all the way to the championship game, where they claimed a 2-0 win against a strong North Middlesex team.

A special thanks to all the coaches who have worked so hard to develop these young skaters into skilled hockey players, and even better teammates. The girls worked incredibly hard this weekend, and winning the tournament was a true team effort.

WMHA is very proud of our Atom Girls achievements this past weekend.
