Pewee B Finalists at International Silverstick
The Peewee Rep team had a very successful weekend competing at the International Silverstick in Forest January 11-13.
In the round robin play the boys finished second with a 3-1 record which advanced them to the semifinals on Sunday morning. In the semifinals, they faced Mooretown the team who beat them in the Silverstick Regional tournament.
The boys had a strong game coming out on top with a 5-4 victory to advance them to the championship game. Wallaceburg faced an undefeated Parry Sound team, and fell short losing 4-2.
Tournament All-Stars were awarded to Jeffery MacKinnon and Kyle Berkvens.
The coaching staff and players would like to thank WMHA for their support to play in the tournament.
