Girls Hockey in Wallaceburg
Submitted By Adam Seys on Monday, July 29, 2013
Please see the note below from Chris Young and Tom Highfield regarding Girls hockey teams in Wallaceburg.

Hi All:

Just wanted to bring everyone up to date on the status of entering all girls teams from the Wallaceburg Association.

To date we have enough girls expressing interest to form an Atom team 11 girls have expressed interest in a team.
There are 9 girls so far in peewee interested
WMHA is currently planning on teams for each of these divisions, Thanks to all who responded initially

For the Intermediate team there are only 5 young ladies interested/registered.

The current plan calls for 3 teams Atom Peewee and Intermediate.

The numbers for Peewee and  Intermediate are low. If there are any more interested please contact me as there is still time to register and provide the association the numbers it requires to keep the program going.

Hockey Canada has banned all Body Contact in the Peewee division - and the OMHA has endorsed this, if you have a peewee aged Player does this affect the decision to play girls hockey? If so , please advise.

Please pass this message along if you are aware of any others interested.

If you are interested in coaching, training, managing, one of these teams please forward your resume to myself and Tom Highfield  [email protected]

Enjoy the rest of the summer And see you soon!
