Hello
My name is Ryan Allaer, and I have been selected by WMHA to be the U13 Rep Coach for the 2021-2022 Season. I want to encourage all U13 OMHA Wallaceburg Players to try-out for this year's Rep team.
Tryouts are a valuable experience for any athlete and can be a positive influence to a player no matter what the outcome.
Here's the team that you are trying out for:
A Rep Level Travel Hockey team that will be designed to be competitive, discipline, and fun. We will compete for OMHA Championship, as well as play in several exciting tournaments.
Here's what a Rep Player can expect:
- A competitive atmosphere with, exposure to talented players on other teams, and a pace of hockey that will push your skill development.
- We will have extra ice times, and practices throughout the season
- We will travel frequently, and at time up to 1 1/2hours away during regular season
- Several Tournaments that will require travel, and may include overnight stays, and missed school.
- Additional Team fees to cover extra-ice and tournament fees
Tryouts:
-Tryouts consist of 4 Skates total for those that go the distance.
-There are a minimum of 2 skates for each player that tryout
-There is a $30 mandatory tryout fee - you may have already paid, or may need to pay at arena before first skate
-There will be team evaluators watching the skates and sharing their findings
This is a great opportunity for every U13 Player to get additional ice time, run through some challenging drills, and have some fun with other Wallaceburg Players. If you don't make the final selection, you will have gained a valuable experience for future tryouts and identified some areas you may need to work on. If you do make the final selection, you will see how important it is to earn the position and represent the Wallaceburg Lakers Rep team this season.
We intend to run a fair, and fun tryout. I hope everyone comes out and gives it their best.

Friday Sept 24
Last Names beginning with A-K - 6:00-6:50 PM
Last Names beginning with L-Z - 7:00-7:50 PM
Saturday Sept 25
Last Names beginning with A-K - 8:30-9:30 AM
Last Names beginning with L-Z - 9:40-7:40 AM
First Selections Made
Combined Group - 2:20 pm - 3:40 pm
Second Selections Made
Sunday Sept 26
Combined Group - 8:00 - 8:50 PM
Final Selection Made
