Atom Girls Lose Tough One in Chatham
The Atom girls played a great game against the Outlaws but game up short with a 3-1 loss. The girls started off a little slow but were able to fend off Chatham and finish the first period with a 0-0 tie. Finally Ferrah Blackbird was able to slide one by the Chatham goalie to take the lead in the second. A few minutes later, Chatham was able to even the score. Wallaceburg continued to fight hard in the third and managed to kill off a 5 on 3 penalty just before Chatham scored a couple more quick goals. Morgan Gorry was stellar in net, making several great saves. Great effort from the entire team!
