Fundraising update
WMHA's main fundraising effort this year, the raffle draw, is less than a month away!!

The draw is February 6th!

Coaches and team managers please collect everyone's ticket stubs and get them handed into Kelly Trella by January 31.

There are a small number of raffle ticket books left if anyone wants to help in the last couple weeks.  

Thank you to anyone who has already taken extra books.  If you are not able to sell them, please return them in case someone else is looking for some to sell. 

Thank you everyone for helping us have a successful fundraising year. Including the raffle, Sarnia Sting game, Wallaceburg Lakers Minor Hockey Nights & the Drive for a Cause we are on track for a great fundraising year.  As well, the hockey moms have been working hard all season and I know have been successful in their fundraising efforts.  

This fundraising is critical to WMHA.  Without it, the costs for operating the season would not be covered and hockey would not be affordable to many Wallaceburg kids.

Timbits Minor Sports Program The Timbits Minor Sports Program is a community-oriented sponsorship program for children four to eight years old who participate in local house league sports teams. The program's philosophy is not based on winning or losing - but on learning a new sport, making new friends, and just taking time out to be a kid. Tim Hortons currently sponsors over 200,000 children who play on hockey, soccer, lacrosse, t-ball, baseball and ringette teams across Canada and in the United States. Each sponsored team is supplied with Timbits Minor Sports jerseys or T-shirts. Timbits hockey teams are often given the opportunity to play on-ice scrimmages during intermissions at Junior, American Hockey League (AHL) and National Hockey League (NHL) games. Timbits players are also given the opportunity to play in their own "Timbits Jamboree", a fun-filled Tim Hortons sponsored event where everyone receives a prize, food and beverages.
